The Consortium was comprised of Nine Ancient realms.
The Consortium realms occupied the continents that are now called Xaria and Asargo, as well as the island nation of Shorn.
Each realm was represented by a solid color flag containing a golden dragon, the symbol of the the Consortium itself..

The Nine Realms were:

Altos (RED), Capitol: Bornu-Lien
Bolcora (GREEN), Capitol: Medrus
Filaan (GRAY), Capitol: Unknown
Loakam (BROWN), Capitol: Unknown
Od'Hir (BLACK), Capitol: Kormir?
Serren (ORANGE), Capitol: Tarnaal
Tandus (PURPLE), Capitol: Unknown
Varuun (WHITE), Capitol: Juddaht
Yl’Sen (BLUE), Capitol: Unknown

While not realms of the Consortium, there were several lands that existed during their time.
These include:

Bolcora Elven Protectorate (What is now Doro Y'Edhel & The Vesve Forest)
Serren Dwarven Protectorate (What is now Thorin)
Thien-Du Penal Colony (What is now Gherin Culloch)

The Consortium was a widespread alliance government. It was neither bad nor good.

The High Mages of the Consortium were established by each realm sending their most powerful mage to assist the Consortium government.

The High Mages made many things.
At the end of the First Age of the Consortium, through an unknown process, they made both the Arenas located in each realm, and the Minotaur and other creatures that acted as arbiters and judges to dispense justice according to Consortium law. The High Mages also created the Magical portals (Consortium Archways) that have been recently re-discovered. These portals were gates that allowed the Consortium members to teleport greater distances than any spell.

Two known gates stand today. One gate is in Chalter Medrium. It is called “Varuth’s Archway.” The gate in Rynith is called “the Widow’s Arch.

According to the new Akkorian Calandar, the Great Cataclysm that brought about the downfall of the Consortium happened in the year 900 P.A. This was roughly 1400 years ago.
